My roots trace back to the ’90s Los Angeles rave scene, then I came up as DJ Ms.E in San Francisco, where I became the founding host of KUSF’s FutureBreaks.FM, one of the first U.S. radio shows dedicated to electronic music. I also co-founded the influential club night Eklektic, a hub for musical experimentation and emerging talent. My passion for music-driven media led me to explore all facets of the industry—from running marketing for XLR8R magazine to managing vinyl and digital record labels and licensing music for film & TV. I’ve also produced countless events, cultivating creative communities where innovation and connection thrive. I now DJ under the alias GriffinGrrl, known for my magnetic, uplifting sets that bring people together through sound.
